Journal Practices

7. Publication Ethics and Rectitude
The Journal of Electrical and Electronic Materials (JEEM) strictly adheres to the ethical guidelines and code of conduct established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All authors must ensure that their work is original, free of plagiarism, and has not been simultaneously submitted to other journals. JEEM utilizes professional screening tools to prevent research misconduct, including fabrication, falsification, and "salami-slicing." Authors are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest and must list only those who have made substantial intellectual contributions as co-authors. Any ethical violations are handled rigorously by the KIEEME Ethics Committee to maintain the academic integrity of the journal and the technological community it serves.

8. Peer Review Process
JEEM ensures the highest quality of scientific research through a rigorous Single-Blind Peer-Review system, where the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept anonymous. Upon submission, manuscripts undergo an initial screening for scope and formatting, followed by an in-depth evaluation by at least two or three independent experts in the relevant field of electrical and electronic materials. Reviewers assess the manuscript based on its technical novelty, experimental soundness, and industrial significance. Based on these expert evaluations, the Editor-in-Chief makes a final decision among Accept, Minor/Major Revision, or Reject. This streamlined and transparent process ensures that only well-validated and impactful research is published in a timely manner.

9. Access
JEEM is an open-access journal, with articles available on the journal's website. Full-text articles in both XML and PDF formats can be accessed directly without an embargo period. This immediate access maximizes the global visibility of research in the field of electronic materials.
